100 Music Videos in 100 Days - How it all works

100 Artists/Bands
We need 100 Artists/Bands to make this happen! If you're a band or an artist with a professionally recorded track, you're automatically in! This is NOT a competition. There is NO "submittal process". We're looking for all genres. Sounds too good to be true? It's not. To learn more about who we are, visit our About Page.

100 Days
We will be producing one video per artist/band per day for 100 days straight starting in April. You will get to choose an 8-hour period (Time Slot A-10am to 6pm or Time Slot B-3pm to 11pm). We will NOT be filming Saturday Time Slot B and Sunday Time Slot A. There are limitations due to the simple fact that it is impossible to shoot a multiple location video in 8 hours! We have several locations for you to choose one from, or you can choose your own location within reasonable location to Murfreesboro, TN. Because you'll want to utilize everything one location has to offer, choosing one that fits who you are is important. If you want a list of locations we have already secured, contact the Producer Sarah Hayes. Keep in mind that most locations will charge you. If you're willing to pay them directly, great! If not, you'll want to find locations that won't charge or with people you know!

100 Music Videos
There is always costs to producing a music video. Most artists/bands can't afford one even though they REALLY need it. We're making this possible for you! The TOTAL cost to you is about what most bands make on a gig - $500. That's it! That's LESS than 1/3 of what we normally charge. When you book your date/time with us, it only costs you $250. The other $250 isn't due until the day we shoot! This is an unbeatable deal. Seriously unbeatable. Not only will you receive a professionally produced music video in the end, but you'll get to be a part of this revolutionary idea that is THE HOTTEST thing happening in Middle Tennessee this summer!

What am I (the Artist/Band) responsible for on the shoot?
As soon as your date/time is booked, you will need to send us a .wav or .mp3 of your choice song via email. You are responsible to show up ON TIME or EARLY to your shoot date! Bring with you appropriate instruments you will be using. You will need to bring your song on a CD or preferrably an IPod with some form of amplification (Boom Box) - this is ONLY meant for you to hear the track as you sing to it. In edit we'll replace the live voice with the recorded track. If your song requires extras (background people), you are responsible for finding them. You will need multiple changes of clothes depending on how many scene changes will be made - a wardrobe and makeup trailer will be provided at NO additional charge! There will be NO makeup artists or hair stylists on-set.

How Does the Editing Work?
The delay on editing will be around two weeks. You will recieve an email with a link within two to four weeks from your production date to check out the edited video. You will be able to make MINOR revisions if necessary. Ultimately you will receive a final file via electronic transfer and a DVD in the mail. Because of the time constraints and costs you will NOT be able to sit-in on the editing process.

What happens from beginning to end?
First phone call to 371 Films will be a general get-to-know you conversation. We'll send you paperwork that will need to be filled out about you or your band, the song choice and video release to use your images. We'll book a date, and you'll need to fill out the paper work and mail it to us. First discussion meeting will be either over the phone or in person (depending on location). During this meeting we'll discuss the song you've selected for the video, and work out a concept. You'll arrive on-set the day of your shoot ready. We'll work over the plan for the day, and start shooting. You will be directed throughout the entire day by the video director like in a real movie. This is your chance to shine! All artists are nervous when they arrive, but everyone leaves ready to do it again! That's the production side, then you sit back and wait for the magic! We'll have a proof to you via email within a couple weeks!

What do you need to do next?
Contact us! Ask for Sarah Hayes, the Producer for 100 Music Videos in 100 Days. She will work through all the details and answer any questions you may still have. To book a date you'll need to sign a release form/contract that we will send you and return to us with your down-payment of $250.

Can I add services to my music video? If so, what?
Totally! Here's what you're getting on your shoot: A Producer/Director, a Cinematographer, a Gaffer, and a Grip for 8 hours! If you want to add a second camera, makeup or hair, casting services, or a still photographer to update your photos we can provide you with a list of these charges.
